2018 plans and no longer being a Riot OCE employee

Hey Guys,

I wanted to update you with what's been going on this year and what my future plans are.

TL;DR As of this Friday I will be leaving my roles at Riot Games Oceania as the Lead Caster and Head of League Infrastructure, to move back down to Melbourne and get ready for the birth of mine and Jenna's baby due later this month.

This wasn't an easy decision to make, I have been at Riot for 3 years now and whilst there worked with some of the best casters in the world. It’s bizarre to think that not only do I cast with a great team now but we also had people like Pastry, Papa, and Atlus who started in OCE. I was able to lead the LPL EN product, and lately help with lots of great projects behind the scenes of the OPL. However, Melbourne is home and Jenna and I want to make sure we are well supported by our families as we take this next massive step in our life.

As for next year, well I will still be casting. I have signed a contract that keeps me as one of the casters of the OPL for 2018. I will also try to stay more involved with the OPL ecosystem as a whole, I started as a coach, and I feel I have a tonne to offer teams and sponsors, so hopefully I can transition into a cool role next year (call me maybe?).

Anyways that's pretty much it. I’ll answer any questions you guys have on twitter.
