Our future with Team Wish
Today we sadly announce that we will no longer be working with Wish moving into the 2018 HGC season. We have been working closely with Wish for the past month and were excited to work with them moving into the future.
Wish would like to reevaluate their involvement in Esports before they fully commit to a longer contract, which is a process which may take a long period of time. They wanted to give us as much time possible to look for another organisation moving forward.
Although going into 2018 our relationship will come to an end, we were very happy with the short amount of time we worked with Wish and how generous they were when working with us. There was no doubt in any of our minds that they had our best interests in the centre of their mind when working with them.
We would like to give a special mention to our point of contact at Wish, Ryan. From as soon as we started being in contact with him we were met with passion, encouragement and overwhelming positivity, with a real love for the game and competition.
This hasn’t disheartened the players moving into the future, with some changes that we are very excited to soon announce. At this moment we are looking to revert back to the Zealots name until we find a new organisation, which Wish have very kindly allowed us to do although still being under contract. To launch bringing back the Zealots’ name we will be looking to do a giveaway for a Zealots team bundle, including a Zealots’ banner, spray and ingame portrait so keep an eye on @ZealotsHotS!
