UCF at Awakening 3


Awakening 3 is featuring the UCF mod some of you guys already know from Syndicate. If you never heard of UCF before here is video with one of the developers explaining it:

We will be using the exact same .iso and ruleset Syndicate used:

•Once the set starts both players imply that they are content with the current setting of the mod (on or off). If you fail to notice it or bring it up, this is on you and can never be a reason to replay a game or the entire set. Whether the mod is switched on can be recognized as follows (where it usually says “VS” on the character select screen, it now says “SYN”): http://i.imgur.com/gxjAw2m.jpg
•If one of the players wants the mod to be switched OFF for the set, this has to be honored. The setting can only be changed prior to and not during the set.
Making sure the mod is switched on is primarily the responsibility of the players. As TOs we will do our best to boot all set-ups with the mod enabled, but we can’t realistically keep an eye on all stations at all times.

The second rule we implemented is to respect the fact that this was announced on short notice. The mod has been tested successfully so we hope most of you guys agree to play with UCF!
