Space Soldiers player acquitted and unbanned
Recently, a Turkish player "Despe" from team Space Soldiers was given an ESL ban after suspicion of cheating. The ban occured due to an erroneous connection of "Despe's" ESL Play account with the ESL Play account of a banned cheater.
Having reviewed the case in detail, it is definitive however that there has been no wrongdoing on the part of "Despe". There is no evidence or documentation connecting "Despe" to the account in question or to cheating of any kind.
Consequently the player has been unbanned and ESL wishes to apologize to "Despe" and Space Soldiers for the false flagging by our system & admins and the consequences of this.
