A lot of tweets are being posted about the NBC 2v2 player switch thing.
If you don't know what's going on , here is the rundown; jknaps missed his flight to the NBC 2v2 qualifier because he was snowed in. (nothing in his control could get him to Philadelphia) so I had to use a sub ( @itsastev ). Rules say I can't get jknaps back with me for the finals since I used stev to qualify.
Here's where the swap comes in, I was upset that I couldn't use knaps because I figured we actually could have won the whole event so I started skimming through the rules In hopes I could find a loophole or something and found this.
"Team trades (“Trades”) are permitted during Roster Change Periods and must be approved in writing by the Sponsor and/or Promotional Partner. Team Trades mean the act or process of transferring one Player belonging to one Team/ to another Team participating in the Tournament. The Substitute cannot be a player competing for/with another Team in the Regionals or Grand Finals;"
I asked faceit, g2, stev, jahzo, kro. Everyone was down for it and it was fair play in the rules so we went for it. No rules broken
