James Loveridge: Suspiciously Happy #edfringe review #edinburgh
This is a modern day love story with many twists and turns along the way.
Loveridge is a well-polished comedian with excellent stage presence and delivery. He's a natural story teller and looks comfortable being the centre of attention as he strolls through what is a lovely little show.
His "Hot In Here" dance routine was not originally scheduled as part of his routine but makes a hilarious mid-interval that is well worth mentioning.
On paper this could look like nothing more than a love story, but don't be fooled; Loveridge doesn't hold back. He is honest and open about many things, particularly his love life and sexual urges.
This show was a surprise; not what I had anticipated but a good one nonetheless. It wouldn't take much for Loveridge to move up a level, he's already three quarters of the way there.
