Eanix releases Smite PC team.

To our fans (all 12 of you):

It's always been my goal to find teams that get it. Winning isn't everything to me. Having loyal players who treat our fans right and create content to engage our fans all the while putting their best effort forward to be the best they possibly can be is what I look for in potential teams that I want to work with. That's always been the goal for Eanix. That is our Smite team.

It hasn't always been easy between I and the Smite team. Even when we were in talks to pick them up, things were misconstrued, tempers flared, etc. I actually had given up on signing the team when Natasha jumped in and pretty much salvaged the whole deal. I'm very glad she did.

I had a great time with the guys at the Gauntlet LAN. Everyone knows how troll the guys can be, and that's something that gave Eanix a persona of sorts. Our videos (created by the great Sensi) embodied that, and I know the community loved our videos and really associate the name "Eanix" with our 5 players. I always wanted our Smite team to be the face of our organization. I care a lot for Lawb, Funball, BMT, Faeles, Duckey, and even Xaliea and Cherryo. However, I don't see that to be an option moving forward.

Without getting into too much detail, I believe HiRez is making a lot of mistakes. Obviously game play is an issue that I can't speak to, but many players do. The issues I can speak to are that of the lack of communication on the esports side. There are other organizations (whom I hope will speak out soon as I am now) who feel the same way. We don't feel heard, we don't feel involved, etc. Getting someone at HiRez to speak to regarding concerns is damn near impossible. I know many players in the scene feel this way too.

There are concerning rumors regarding HiRez removing organizations who are not part of the WESA union and forcing them to sell their teams. While these are things I've heard from very credible owners/people, they are rumors until proven factual. I went up the ladder to VPs to schedule meetings to discuss these rumors and other issues I have. Our players even tried to help field these meetings. However, meetings were missed multiple times, responses weren't being given, etc.

Even if HiRez were to address these issues now, I feel that fielding any other team in Smite PC wouldn't be true to our identity. I think the players we've fielded will always be the true Eanix Smite team. We wish our team the best of luck finding a new home and for their goal of making Worlds. Any organization would be lucky to have these guys as part of their team. They are truly hungry players who will no doubt do great things, and whom I'll miss having under our banner.

We are looking forward to announcing new teams to the Eanix lineup soon.
