Addressing the closure. My tweet keeps getting deleted.

What happened?

As of the 7th of July 2017, Team Skyfire Management were contacted by a specific sponsor that is involved with the organisation and they provided management with evidence of one of the Skyfire Co-Owners harassing a female online. This harassment has gone on for the past few months and for the “health and safety” of those involved, our sponsor decided to pull out of Team Skyfire. Due to the severity of the harassment, it has been stated to us that the sponsor will be passing the evidence onto the right authorities.

Why close?

The remaining owners of Team Skyfire have lost interest in continuing Skyfire on. This is because of all the hard work they put into getting the recent sponsors for Skyfire has been torn away from them. For those involved heavily into Esports, they will understand how hard it is to bring these kind of sponsors onboard and to maintain a relationship with the sponsors. We are also aware that Esports is also corely about the players; all players have been informed of the situation and have agreed that it is the right thing to do. Skyfire as a hole is not dead forever… if the original Founders of Team Skyfire wish to carry on this legacy, they can do so at their free will. Our intentions were huge for Skyfire, we decided to merge to bring two amateur organisations together and form one; so we could compete against the top guns of this industry. And that we did. But all great things come to an end.

Thank you for everything.
