End of MRDS. Free Agency
Movistar Riders has ended
After 7 months with the @Movistar_Riders #Overwatch family, the team is released in the wake of the uncertainty of the Overwatch scene.
To all my current or former teammates : @Logix_OW, @DanteZegveld, @CwooshOW, @neptuNoOW and @Finnsi1 BIG THANK YOU for the time we passed as a team.
Special mention to @destro_OW for helping us through the end of our Overwatch story. The guy is a beast skill and mentality wise.
We had our highs and lows as a team but overall I really enjoyed playing with each one of these guys because they're dedicated to the game as much, if not even more, than me.
From nobodies in January to one of the best team in Europe in the span of 3 months, winning the @OverwatchPIT league over eUnited, to a stable T1/1.5 team as time went on.
Huge shoutout to every staff Members of Movistar Riders : Jorge, Paco, Fernando, Coach Séns, Resett, Lara and every others I'm missing.
You guys have provided us with everything we needed to perform. For the sheer number of flaws we could point out, the org was outstanding on every other level.
Thanks for giving us a chance to play pro on Overwatch !
Big love to my baby @daemonOW. He believed in us as a team, as a friend, as an analyst/assistant-coach.
Even more love to everyone who supported, liked, hated, won, lost against us. You guys were the reason we were trying so hard to achieve greatness.
As for where the team goes from there player-wise, we don't know yet since 4 (Logix, Dante, Cwoosh & Nept) are going to the world cup with their respective countries.
Consider everyone a free agent/looking for offers as we won't stop anyone, we all have needs to meet.
Right now I'm gonna enjoy 2 to 3 weeks of holidays and then see where I can land.
