Excited to announce our new #Overwatch roster MEGA⚡️Thunder🇹🇭!


MEGA ESports, a newly-formed professional esports organization, has just launched with a focus on Southeast Asia and its over twenty million gamers and esports fans. The organization is dedicated to nurturing both the impressive growth and competitive nature for esports that already exists within the region. MEGA ESports will be led by long time esports fan and Counter-Strike 1.6 & Source competitor, Alex Simmons as Team Manager, who will oversee all player related activities, former Marketing Executive from Play-Asia.com, Hardy Pace as Head of Branding, will be responsible for driving the community and brand forward, Managing Partner of Virtua Capital Asia Limited, Arnold Tandra as CTO, and Managing Partner of Sustainergy Capital Limited, William Hsu as CEO overseeing all business activities.

In conjunction with its formal launch, MEGA ESports is proud to announce the acquisition of Team Fireball’s Overwatch roster from HK ESports. Team Fireball is one of the first and finest professional Overwatch teams from Southeast Asia and proudly represented Thailand in Season 1 of Blizzard’s Overwatch Pacific Championship. The roster is extremely talented and has a tremendous history of success, with four of the players representing Thailand in the inaugural as well as upcoming Overwatch World Cup starting in July in Shanghai, China.

The Team Fireball roster will now be competing as MEGA Thunder (MT) in Season 2 of Blizzard’s Overwatch Pacific Championship, scheduled to begin August 19 in Taipei.
