Roster Updates and General Team Stuff:

Hello everyone, I've had a few people reach out for updates on Lights Out and what we're doing. We've had a really busy few weeks and you have probably all heard a few of our members have left. Below you'll find what happened to each player and what they plan to do going forward. Don't worry though, Lights Out is still a team and you can find the information for just that near the bottom.

To begin with Smidget left the team about a week ago, his drive to become the best Rocket League player was replaced with his drive to dive back into his career and we all wish him the best with that. He was an amazing player and all around fun person to talk to. Super insightful into team play and very helpful if we needed anything. He will not be LFT but we expect to see him around on Steam playing Starbound for sure.

AbsorbentKarma will be going LFT as well mostly because Lights Out cannot have 5 players on the roster for RLCS and the fact he felt like he did not want to become a sub. Karma is a very quick learner and incorporated our system into his play within a few days, I highly suggest trying him out for your team. He'd be a great pickup for any bubble/right below bubble teams looking for a solid 3rd. Also he is Mexican (he will tell you this multiple times when you first meet and every time you talk the conversation will always lead to how Taco Bell doesn't serve real tacos). Karma, you're amazing and I hope you find a great team.

Sadly last but not least Greg will also be stepping away from Lights Out. He was one of the original founding members when we transferred from Evolve back in March. His main reason for leaving is schedule issues since the teams practices a bit early than most along with some personal things he has going on but he will be back to competitive very soon. Greg is an amazing person and I'm sure you met him if you attended RLCS in LA (he introduced himself to literally anyone with a heartbeat). We all know he'll be an amazing player and a great addition to any bubble level team.

Moving forward as Lights Out: Kevpert, Aeon, and Toe will be the starting lineup, they will be looking for a 4th (tryouts have already begun) and hope to push into the tier 2 sections for this upcoming RLCS season. I can see this team going very far especially seeing the amount of work they put into the game and the dedication they have to their craft.

As for myself (Sneaky), I will be stepping away from Lights Out as well, I have been mostly in the shadows since the transfer from Evolve and mostly focused on behind the scenes help with the team assisting wherever they needed me. Mostly I plan to continue coaching with BadPanda and just helping out any player/team with whatever they need within Rocket League.

To end, I just wanted to say thanks to Ash for bringing us three together (Kevpert/Greg/Sneaky) and I can only speak for myself but I genuinely feel like I've known the other two for my whole life. They're pretty much family at this point. I thank you both for giving me the opportunity to grow with you and I'm very excited to see where you both end up because I know you'll both be top tier players one day.

Thanks again for the chance to try something new,
-Sneaky
