Regarding recent issues with the art assets of the pre-alpha trailer.

Thanks to the team at Rebel Galaxy and some other individuals, we have now become aware that the current teaser shows some copied assets from other games. The trailer is the pre-alpha demo version at the product preliminary stage of development on Fringe Wars. We had purchased some of the ships that are legally licensed from the Unity asset store.

After an internal investigation into the development team on Fringe Wars, we have found that unbeknownst to Oasis Games, an individual on the development team used some of the art assets that from other games and passed them off as their own in the pre-alpha build and trailer. Appropriate action has been taken against this individual and we would like to sincerely apologize for any offense and upset caused. Oasis Games firmly believes in the passion our creators have for video games and this individual’s actions, do not represent Oasis Games nor the development teams that work with us. We strive to provide the best quality games for our players and seek to hold a foundation of trust with them, as well as developers in the industry.

Fringe Wars is already now being redesigned and will be back better than ever with a new trailer very soon so you can see the changes right away. As a sign of good faith, we invite everyone to get a closed beta key and to check out the game in the next few months after we have finished making the necessary changes.
