Incept Acquire The Trash Pandas CS:GO Roster
Following our Roster Release announcement the other night, We at Incept eSports are happy to welcome our new CS:GO roster being 4/5ths of the former Trash Pandas lineup consisting of:
Gary "kalth” Howie - @kalthcs
Jireh "J1rah” Youakim - @J1rah
Jay "JDK” Eckermann - @jdkcountrstrik
Euan “sterl1ng” Moore - @sterl1ngcs
With the 5th tbd
The team will be competing in AEM, CG-I and ESEA-P along with any other qualifiers, and events that pop up.
We got some words from Incept eSports CEO Saliba for his thoughts on the pickup.
“Ever since our Main CS:GO roster began to fall apart we were looking at potential rosters, At that point The Trash Pandas were turning heads taking wins over big teams such as Athletico, Team Immunity, Legacy etc. We began to contact the team weeks ago but were told the team would need some time, With no other options that suited the criterior like they did we are confident we got the best roster fit for our needs we believe having this roster on board can get us to where we were mid last year, around the top echelon of ANZ CS:GO"
Team Captain Sterling had some words to say about the search for an organisation and what Incept fans can expect from the new roster.
"We stewed over organisations for a long time to find one that aligns with our goals and our identity as a team. We want to build something together with people that can recognise as not only a personal brand, but also as a combined effort between us. People can expect us to be putting in more hours than before and not accepting second best. We want to win at any cost, not just accepting bad results and making excuses. We want to play a better brand of CS and break the idea of what people think our scene is like."
