Looking at the future!

So the obvious thing is today’s results. These results were not what we were hoping for and unfortunately not everything plays out how you want it to. However, with that being said, my future plans have not changed, and before I talk about these plans I want to start off by saying that this decision WAS NOT influenced by today's outcome at all. This has been in the works for months now, and I was just waiting for the right time to announce it. Now is that time.

So going forward I will no longer be playing SMITE competitively. I’ve played competitive SMITE for almost 4 years and during this time I’ve had the greatest experience any young enthusiastic gamer could ask for. I've met so many amazing people, worked with some of the best organisations in the scene, and learned so much about the industry. However, all good things must come to an end, but that doesn't mean new & amazing things can’t start!

Starting in October I have an amazing opportunity working for a great company which I will announce at a later date. However, because of this opportunity it will prevent me from playing SMITE full time which is the main reason I am no longer playing competitive. However, I will still be involved with SMITE and its competitive scene!

On a more personal side of things, playing Competitive Smite while being a Full time University student is quite the challenge and it has defiantly taken a toll on my life. Juggling my university work and maintaining a high skill level in smite consumed so much of my time I barely had any time to spend with friends, family and loved ones. It was only a matter of time before I had to make a decision.

Going to wrap it up there, not much more needs to be said. Just wanted to update you all since I know you all like to ask questions :P
