The BS behind C6. Future TBD
Well basically C6 seemed decent at the start and seemed like the owner was half decent but actually he is a sketchy shit show just looking to exploit the eSport scene. Has people working round the clock for no apparent reasons gives un-realistic deadlines for tasks to be completed.
Would lie to my face in theory but constantly telling me yeah we have investors who will cover this and that well of what it seems there were no investors, or if there was we were never made aware of them.
Secondly, I feel sorry for 2 teams which funding was cut before events due to 'Funding from investors' being cut before events due to what was being said by people within the eSports scene. I had became good friends with one of these teams as well, was looking forward to attending and watching them play at Copenhagen Games with them just to be told today that the organisation has pulled out of the event even though the hotel was paid for!
Furthermore, being worked from when I finished university basically everyday being worked til 3/4am every single day even, when I had personal issues things would still be coming flying in from not just the owner but also people around the organisation about when will I get this when will I get that.
I am thankful for all the people that reached out to me and showed me the BS that was behind the ownership, I took that on board and it has helped me come to this decision. I was just blinded by what could have been.
Furthermore, whenever me or anyone else would ask when would we get a salary or ask other questions it may take him 2 whole days to respond or we may get no response at all. Overall my experience since leaving @sbusinessgaming has been a far from pleasant one. I can now say I have seen the pure people which make eSports a bad place to be and the cons of this community.
Regarding my future it has come to that moment where I am not sure what is going to be happening anymore, whether I am going to aim for a career in coaching in a game i have experience in or whether I am just going to quit eSports(Doubt it), However, i would like to thank everyone for your help and your support it means a lot. Hopefully be more of me to come.
