Greninja Saga Update

Hey all this is Champ from 2GG,

Got some important information to relay to all of you:

Greninja Saga will take place on May 20

After contacting multiple Greninja mains, many of them are unable to attend on April 22nd due to short notice.

For example, the Italy smash community is asking us to move it because they already have iStudying attending their event on that date: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sporpe

Also, we been talking to dozens of Greninjas directly and a general consensus is to push it to May.

So, what’s happening to April Saga now?

Since April saga was the plan for Greninja and we been working on that since we found out, we will be canceling April saga. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Wait. Why can’t you just do a new theme for April instead?

A saga is not a simple event anymore. It takes time, planning, and resources to host a proper saga that everyone will enjoy. With the event only 2.5 weeks away, we don’t have enough time to create a whole new theme, contact the people for the theme, get the resources and advertisement for that theme, and run it.

So due to rescheduling, we will not be hosting an April saga.

Dang. Does that mean we’re going to have one less saga now?

Of course not! We will be adding a new saga at a future date to make up for the absence of April saga!

What about Pokemon Saga?

Pokemon is a crazy phenomenal. There is so much potential and possibility in this saga and will require a lot of planning. We currently don’t have the needed ingredients right now to make this saga happen but we are working on it with a certain company to make this a reality in the future.
