Future endeavors
So since we didn't make RLCS, it's a good timing to make it official
Leaf eSports (Krazack, JHZER, Supraa and me) will be stepping down from competitive RL.
Let me start this off with positive words about one of the most fun experiences I've ever had.
I just wanna say thanks to JHZER and Krazy for being super awesome team mates. I remember when Krazack joined us and we started playing really well together, but after Mewy stepping down and Supraa not having enough time back then, we just thought about bringing in JHZER, and old team mate of Jackie (the girl gamer) "for the moi and lulz".
From the first tournament on there was this super funny humour and the synergy that really motivated us and everything was just so friendly and easy to start. Untill the end (yesterday) it never felt like either of my 2 team mates ever blamed anything on someone else. It was all natural and really comfortable. Definitely the most relaxed, welcome, friendly and careful mates I've had in a while. <3
Ok so how come you disband then?
It's not solely because of RLCS, but Krazack has phrased it nicely when he told me "it felt good not to play as much, it's not as stessful" when we were talking about the previous week. I perfectly sympathize with those words, let me explain why
For work I have to get up at ~4.45 in the morning possibly on weekends too (working in a hospital). That makes tournaments during the week insanely tough as I have to stay up long but also get up early. Sure, I love my job and I love the game, it's not like I'm forced to do either of those, I did it with passion and enjoyed it for the most part. But there comes a point where it gets a little stressful and this is where I'm gonna draw the line.
I'm still gonna play the game, I'm still gonna compete here and there but I'm stepping back from all those weekly tournaments that we tried to participate in and the scrims that we organized - for now.
Thanks to everyone that was rooting for us in the RLCS qualifier and those super cutiepie comments on YouTube :).
AFAIK all the starters will be taking a break.
