Suppose this is as good a time as any. "Retiring" from competitive Rocket League

Uhhh not entirely sure how to go about this but, essentially it's pretty straight forward. I simply cannot will myself to put in the necessary amount of time that it takes to be a top player. I haven't been able to for quite some time, my peak being idk maybe RLCS Season 1 Qualifier 1. While Rocket League is an outstanding game and I encourage people to continue supporting it's growth as an esport and the amazing devs that make it all happen, it just feels like a chore to play it at this point. I was kind of just hanging on for as long as I did because it's pretty hard to drop something after investing so much time into it. At the end of the day though, I'm pretty confident this is the right choice. While I have no idea what life has in store for me next, this part seems to be over. It was a hell of a fun run, and I've met a lot of really amazing people as a result of playing this game. I wanna give a few shout outs as well: Jimmer for always pushing me and being just a phenomenal fucking guy, Chicago wouldn't have been possible without him. PossumKnight for continuing to support me for as long as I can possibly remember, she invested a lot of time into helping me without asking for anything back. Espeon, Kovanel and Flow for being just all around great people and amazing teammates, it was a pleasure getting to know them. CloudFuel for putting in the insane amount of work and effort to help bring Rocket League esports to where it is today, none of this would have been possible without him. And finally the small community that always came to watch and support my shit stream, you guys know who you are <3 Anyway, I'll continue to watch and support the best I can, but I'm out. Take care all ^_^
