RIP Silver Plebs
Greetings all pleb fans, we have a very special announcement for you today. As you know Silver Plebs have had a very successful season in Heroes Lounge, remaining undefeated in division 3, and qualifying for the playoffs, where despite losses huge roster problems towards the end, we still managed to put on a respectable performance. Those who are familiar with Silver Pleb roster know that in the beginning there were 5 of us (Aleksandrikus (me), Godspeed, Dredlord, BeardyMurloc and Nux), but towards the end of the tournament there were 9 of us officially plus some people who trained with us in order to fill in the empty seats. Going into the new season we parted ways with some of our roster and would like to give our thanks to them.
Dredlord was in our team from the start, but due to some real life obligations (and LOL), he is no longer with us and stopped playing HOTS altogether for now. His tanking Jaina will always be in our hearts, and don't forget. Jaina is Dredlord.
Angel joined our team in the 3rd round of the tournament as a melee sub, but quickly became integral part of our team. He, due to real life obligations will also be leaving HOTS, and therefore the team. His dedication to the team, godlike Artanis swaps, and equally godlike Leroic feeding will be remembered, and told to many new generations.
Hally was the most recent addition in our team playing the last few rounds and the playoffs with us, has left the team in order to join the newly formed Freedom For Slothville, and we wish him the best of luck (except when he faces us, then we wish him the best of feeds).
Honorable mentions as well to Catacus and Makrelius who have been in team from the start and trained with us, but were unable to play any games due to RL, and of course to Mahotsukai who has regularly played scrims with us, and even subbed for us in the playoffs.
Going into the new season with only 4 original members of the Silver Plebs left (Alex, Godspeed, BeardyMurloc and Nux) we were contacted by certain members of a certain team (more on this later), and have decided to form a new team with them. Due to my wish to improve myself individually as a player I have decided to step down as a captain of this new team, and I have full confidence in person taking over to do the job well.
We as a team would like to thank Heroes Lounge for making something awesome as this happen, special shout out to Cosmic obv and everyone else who really works hard behind the scenes. Silver Plebs are dead, and will be remembered as one of the best teams of Season 2 Division 3, but the new team will, in the same fashion, have a goal to have a respectable score and win Heroes Lounge.
