Me vs Moe response

In order for everyone to fully understand why this argument got blown out of proportion it is important that context is provided on my relationship with moe. I've asked moe for advice on multiple things, ranging from personal to professional. With that considered, I have always thought that I have had a good friendship with moe.

If any of you watched the vod, it is obvious that nothing was taken seriously, at least on my end. Moe was talking shit to me, and I was responding and vice versa. Moe, if you were actually hurt, then I am truly sorry. This is something we've done in the past and was not meant to be malicious.

The main reason why things escalated was because I felt like moe went beyond what friendly banter normally consist of when he brought up my parents. Thankfully the comments about my family were fictitious. However, I want to point out that while it is okay to joke around, it is important to be considerate of others. I think a line has to be drawn at talking about another person's potential family problems, looks, financial status, etc. Surface level insults such as "tim is a pussy" (-moe) or "moe is so bad" (-me) are meant in fun, however, going into more personal detail is unnecessary and often times changes the intent from joking to harming.

I've been reading a lot of reddit comments about moe and it seems like the majority of the community has the wrong idea of him. Before I joined C9, he was someone I went to for advice. I asked him whether or not I should make the move, whether or not it was a good deal, and whatever else he had to say I wanted to hear it because I respect him a lot. Its rare to find someone who will take time out of their day to help you, with no ulterior motive. Despite him threatening to release the information I told him in private, I know moe would never do that and I'm sincerely sorry that things got blown out like this.

TLDR: I'd like to end this by saying that this whole situation was amplified. Moe didn't offend me and is actually a good guy, I'm not going through anything personal (even if I was I wouldn't make it public knowledge) and just be aware of how what you say might affect people around you.
