People who believe that today's comic book writers shouldn't have political opinions or express them, would've really hated...
...how comics took a stand against Nazis before America entered WW2.
Or comics that took political stances in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.
Trying to imagine the comics of my youth without Steve Gerber's stances on issues.
Or Stan's for that matter.
What is this magic era of "Shut Up About Your Politics" that certain corners are saying we should hearken back to? When was that exactly, from when to when?
