My Visit To The ITV Studios To Watch WOS

So as you all know from my tweet yesterday, I stated that I was going to the World Of Sports wrestling show in Salford. Yeah, about that. So after a fairly long drive, eating a meal and getting dressed, we finally arrived. We began queuing in what seemed to be a small queue at the time. As time went on, the queue got bigger, which we expected, but due to us being there literally 4 hours before the show was set to start, we chose not to worry about it. Bare in mind that this is outside and we're queueing in November, the temperatures were rather low. So after the first hour or so, the queue had extended at the ITV studios, there were two queues, a first come first serve queue which myself and two family members were in and a priority queue. Now I have an issue with this system. The priority queue is basically for people who have been to a different show (Jeremy Kyle, Judge Rinder etc) and haven't gotten into that show, therefore getting tickets to another show. But I don't believe they should be applicable to a special show, a one time only show until a later date that is. As time went on, and believe me, it felt like it was ages, the priority queue grew largely, as did the first come first serve.

At 5pm, where we'd been waiting for a fair amount of time, also where the doors were supposed to be opened, it began going dark and so the temperatures dropped even lower. We was freezing, but the staff didn't seem to care, all they cared about was that we kept out of the way of the fire exit. Good one.

As the doors opened, more priority people began to come, which later filled the entirety of the waiting room, now the first come first serve queue was around a corner and through several barricades. At around 5:40, the priority queue had stopped and the fans in our queue had begun being rowdy, as expected, they'd been waiting for 5 hours after all. So the queue began to move, very slowly and we continued to freeze. Skip ahead of time until we got closer to the door and they let people through. As we got to the door, we were put on standby, which means that we could wait in the waiting room and watch the show in there until somebody decides to leave, bare in mind we were behind twenty people. So those twenty people before us had found out about 15 minutes before us, yet the staff decided to wait until we were at the door to tell us, instead of notifying us and wasting more of our time. We stated that we didn't want to wait as it would be pointless and I may later watch it on TV (which I will not be doing). They then decided to ask us if we wanted tickets for either Judge Rinder or Jeremy Kyle. No. We came to watch wrestling, not a family of scrotes argue over who's the baby is or a stuck up Judge go on with himself. So instead they stated that we will have priority tickets to the next year World Of Sports show if they decide to do one. So to that ITV, I fairly state, take your tickets, turn em sideways and shove them where the sun doesn't shine. And after that, you can kiss my behind cause that was an absolute waste of my time.
