I made a mistake.

I was recently put in a position that should be a no brainer as a professional player, and I am sorry to say that I did not act the way a professional player should act. I put myself in a position that can not only affect me, but can affect my teammates, and the organization I so proudly represent, and for that, I would like to formally apologize. I was asked to sub in for an amateur team in the most recent MLG 2k for two matches while one of their members was at work, and made the mistake of accepting and playing out those two matches with them. It was a huge lapse in judgment, and I put helping a friend in need over the well being of my own career, and my teammates careers. I should have one hundred percent said no, and I truly regret the decision that was made. That is not how a professional player should act, and looking back on it I am embarrassed that I even considered it in the first place. I would like to apologize to my teammates, to Team EnVyUs, to our fans, to The Coalition, and to the entire GoW community. I feel like I have let you all down and I can you promise that I will learn from this mistake and never put myself in a position like this ever again.

We did give Envision the win in the Round 3 match, but that doesn’t excuse the prior team that was affected by this, or excuse my actions in any way. I will accept whatever punishment is deemed necessary for these actions, and I will use this as a learning experience and put my best foot forward. I am sorry to all those who look up to me as a player, and I hope that any players who consider this in the future think twice about doing this because it is just not worth it. I love Gears eSports and I love competing more than anything in the world. I am proud to represent Team EnVyUs and call myself a Professional Gears of War player. I am not however proud of the way I acted and for that I would like to once again apologize. I believe that competitive integrity is important and I made a selfish act that I can not take back. I hope the EnVyUs fans, Gears eSports fans, and Gears eSports community can forgive me for what I have done. Sorry to all those I have let down.
