Marian Vajda in l'Équipe http://abonnes.lequipe.fr/Tennis/Article/Djokovic-y-a-un-hic/726683 (sub) on why Djokovic was gesturing 'furiously' at his box during his match against Wawrinka:

'Unnerved? No, not at all. Novak just wanted to relieve the pressure. He wasn't feeling well on court. It just wasn't his day. He still started well, but when Wawrinka raised his level, Novak had problems converting numerous break chances, then winning the fight. A bit like Roland Garros in 2015. You know, being in a final after hesitating for so long about playing the tournament because of physical problems, it's still a very good performance. Novak is still number one in the world, has won two Slams (Australia and Roland Garros) this season. don't forget that!'

On Djokovic's feet:

'You should have seen his feet in the dressing room after the match, there was blood everywhere and he was in a lot of pain. He didn't to it to cheat - he needed treatment. There were some long and incredible rallies. Novak ran a lot and made demands on his feet. That's the only explanation.'
