Weekly Missions Update for 8/28/16

Hey all,

I hope all of you have had a very blessed week. God blessed me with some tentmaking this week, and I also had opportunities to share the Gospel on Thursday and today (Saturday). I joined a student from the School of Biblical Evangelism, who faithfully shares the Gospel around the local mall. We had a great time. Please pray for Mona and Ali, two Muslims that I had opportunity to give tracts to and talk with (mostly Mona). Also, please pray for a man who rejected a tract and said that he didn't believe there was such a place as Heaven. Today, I joined brothers and sisters from my church, Tree of Life Fellowship, for our monthly outreach outside of University of Maryland (College Park)'s campus. Many people were on the move, but one person who stopped for more than a minute to talk to us was Shrinas (sp?), a man who appeared to be from India. He seemed to appreciate the tract and listened as the Gospel was shared. Also, pray for Eddie, a professing Christian who we ran into during the outreach.

I pray this week that God will surround all of us with opportunities to share the Gospel, that we would take them for his glory, and that he would open our eyes and our hearts to see the need all around us.

Here's my schedule for this coming week:

I will be tentmaking throughout the week.

Tuesday- office work

Friday- I will join my branch director Tom Fox and volunteers from Forcey Bible Church for our evening outreach in downtown Silver Spring, MD

Saturday- This is tentative at best, but I hope to do some kind of outreach at the fourth annual 4K event near my community.

May God bless all of you this week and strengthen you!

In Christ,
Becca :-)
