Excerpts from #Giants K Joshua Brown's incident report stemming from his May 2015 arrest for fourth-degree domestic violence. The charge was dropped five days later: "...Molly told me that she and her husband Joshua were in an argument about finances. She said she during the argument she went to check what he had been doing on her computer in the office. Molly said that Joshua came into the office and came at her quickly, scaring her. She reached for the phone on the desk and Joshua grabbed her wrist tightly causing her pain and bruising. Molly said she pulled her arm away and ran to her bedroom where she locked the door and called 911. I looked at Molly’s wrist and observed that she had a small abrasion and some bruising that looked like finger marks. I notified Deputy Shears that I had probable cause to arrest Joshua for DV assault."
"Deputy Shears spoke with Joshua. Joshua told him that he and Molly were in a disagreement today regarding finances. Joshua said that while he was using the computer, Molly grabbed the phone. Joshua said he tried to grab the phone but grabbed her wrist by accident. Joshua said that he did not try to injure his wife and was surprised the Sheriff’s Office was called. "Molly described in her statement the history of physical violence against her from her husband Joshua. Molly stated that Joshua had been physically violent to her on more than 20 different instances over the past several years. She said that Joshua became violent after she became pregnant with their daughter Georgia. Deputies were called to the house last night because of an argument between Joshua and Kobe and Kemper. Molly said that last night Joshua made threatening gestures towards Kobe and got into his face making her think Joshua was going to hurt him. Molly also said that during a recent trip to Hawaii in April of this year, Joshua got angry in an argument with her and held up his fist like he was going to punch her and said "I want to knock you out so bad". Molly further described an incident that occurred in April of 2014, saying that Joshua pushed her into the large mirror in their bedroom and then threw her on the floor and jumped on top of her, holding her face down into the carpet. Molly said this incident caused her pain in her arm and elbow for several months. In February of this year, Molly said that Joshua got into an argument with her son Kobe and kicked in the bathroom door. Molly said the door flew open and hit Kobe in the arm. She also said that Joshua kicked the door so hard that it broke off the hinges of the door and cracked a large portion of the door jam. Molly added in her statement that back in 2013 she had a protection order placed against Joshua. She said this order was later dropped because of the progress they had made in their relationship due to counseling."
