Laughing Stock #edfring review
A real mixed bag of sketches from really poor to quite brilliant, this show is quite a roller coaster.
There's some real talent within this troop that includes beat boxing, guitar playing, brilliant acting and a great singing voice. Add to this some lovely written sketches and you can see they have the potential to be taken seriously in the comedy world.
The guys are playing a large room and obviously creating a buzz as the place was packed.
The crowd are with them most of the way, it's just the odd weak sketch that gets nothing. They possibly share out writing duties, and if so maybe this is where the problem lies.
If every sketch hit the mark then I would say they are definitely contenders for a five star show; the ones that are good are very good.
I would highly recommend this show and, if not this year, then definitely ones to watch out for next year.
