Suzi Ruffell: Common #edfringe review

A show packed with so much feeling that it's obviously written from the heart.
The show is an auto biographical look back at the life of Suzi Ruffell. A look at her up bringing, her family, her friends, a look at where she's from and where she's currently at. It's a tale of her struggle to find her true self and be comfortable in her own shoes.
It's a beautiful show that honestly moved me as I can empathise with Suzi's story but regardless of my personal feeling Suzi has a show capable of reaching out to all.

The show paints a lovely, maybe even a little odd, family life. It is one that gives us plenty to think about and plenty of laughs.

As Suzi nears the end of her set I can't help but feel a mixture of both happiness and disappointment, it's like that of the feeling you get when you come to the end of a good book.

Common is a lovely heart warmer of a show, superbly created and expertly performed. Suzi Ruffell has won my heart.
