Benoit Paire, today, after saying yesterday that he was "happy to leave":
"I want to say that I've got interviewed in a heated moment, after an important match I just had lost. Unfortunately I am impulsive and I regret this media move. I want to apologize to the interpretation of some of my comments to France, to French people and to my sponsors. I love the Olympics and I am very proud to have been able to wear the colors of the France.
"I was not in the best psychological dispositions due to organizational and communication problems that I am not responsible for. Besides, I'm not the only one to have noticed it. I wish the best to all French athletes still present in Rio."
