An update on NG Blue and Bird

Today, we part ways with NG Blue -- our European Overwatch Roster. Also, an update on the 'Bird Drama'

In Regards to NG BLUE:

Having been with us for the past month and a half, it is difficult to say goodbye to such a talented group of players. We part ways on good terms, and wish the best to each and every one of those players. We still believe they are capable of being one of the best teams in the world, and hope that they find themselves with an organization that can help solicit that. Being an entirely Swedish roster, it was very difficult for our predominantly North American infrastructure to help them out, and obviously the language barrier made it incredibly difficult to give them the support they needed. This parting was more out of respect than anything else, as we believe with the right organization and the right infrastructure, they have what it takes to be truly great. Sometimes it's about recognizing where you are out of your element, and supporting an entirely Swedish speaking team was a little too far out of reach for us right now. We will be keeping a close eye on this roster, and maybe will work with some of them again in the future. Best of luck to NG Blue (Now Bringos) and we wish them the best moving forward!

Now, to address the Bird situation. There will be a lot more surfacing over the next few days via multiple news sources, as the entire situation has already been discussed at length and is too much for a post here. To keep it simple, Bird is still under contract with Northern Gaming, however has decided to play under another organization. We will not be releasing him for the simple fact that it makes us look like our contracts have no validation, and we will not be seeking legal remedies because we do not want the reputation as the organization who sues players. We as an organization refuse to reward individuals for breaking contracts and making a mockery out of the E-Sports industry.

With that being said, the other five members of the team will likely speak on the issue in length. Bird's choice to break his contract with us in hopes that we would drop him formally is his choice, but the other players (Manga/Bread/Nap/Chance/Wolf) are all incredibly happy with our family, and will come back better than ever with a new team member. We hope you guys understand the situation, and as more information comes to light, we believe that you will understand why we are choosing to formally hold onto his contract until it expires in a few months.

Thanks for your constant support everyone!
