Regarding @PG_psalm playing on Murloc Geniuses

Yesterday, an announcement was made that psalm has officially joined the reformed Murloc Geniuses which was unfortunately both premature and untrue. This was not approved by Panda Global and psalm was unaware about the press release. To be clear, there are yet unannounced changes within Panda Global's Heroes roster but this was certainly not one of them.

We were approached by MG manager Artemis Howl last night prior to the announcement and made it known that psalm is allowed to participate in scrimmages with them but he is not cleared to play with Murloc in tournament at this time. PG has no intentions getting in the way of what is best for our players and we have always been flexible, willing to work out and resolve all issues. It should have been apparent to both Artemis and Equinox (who are leading the resurgence of Murloc Geniuses) that psalm is still contracted with Panda Global and not released from the team.

It is disappointing that MG made such a statement in light of the recent battles with litigation that Equinox is undergoing (with the second team he has broken contract),and we feel this was another instance of very poor decision making. Trying to circumvent player contracts and legal procedure is not an acceptable practice and should be frowned upon by those who wish for the competitive scene for Heroes of the Storm to succeed. We only want the best for the community and continue to build the scene we love so much.

Psalm will continue to represent Panda Global under contract although he is free to try out with other teams at his own discretion. We have recommended psalm against playing with Murloc Geniuses due these and a variety of other circumstances, however we will continue to work with psalm to reach his decision on the direction of his career. PG will always take care of our players and their best interests. This is no exception.
