Sitting on the plane about to head home after a wonderful weekend of wrestling. I love getting the chance to catch up with old friends, make a few new ones, and become better acquainted with some folks I only knew in passing over the years on weekends like these. It's trips like these that really reinforce the bonds that everyone who takes part in this business gets a chance to create with each other by working so closely on something we all feel so passionately about.

While Evolve will always be my wrestling home, there is something special about getting the opportunity to be a part of the lockerrooms for SHINE Wrestling & Shimmer Women Athletes. The women in these 2 companies have done an amazing job of carving out a space for themselves to be taken seriously and respected as athletes and performers in a male dominated industry. They take their responsibility for carrying the torch for women's wrestling in this country very seriously , and they are fiercely protective of that space, as these places are the only ones that they can truly call their own and can create their version of this art form the way they see fit.

For these women to allow me the privilege of playing a part in helping them create their vision for this business is not an honor I take lightly. It actually may be the thing I am proudest to do in wrestling, because for these women to accept me as "one of the girls" so to speak, is all I need to know about what they think of me as a person, even more than as an announcer.

So from the bottom of my heart, thanks so much for having me ladies..can't wait to do it all again.
