2 Week Treatment Update + EVO

(If you just want the EVO part, scroll down to where I type "EVO" in front of a paragraph)

Hey everyone, long time no see! I have some good news about what's going on with me and I wanted to let you all know what's up now that I'm back from traveling to see a really good doctor.

That doctor and my endocrinologist both told me that my treatment WILL BE A SUCCESS! WOOOOOOOOOOO TESTOSTERONE BABY

Quick summary of the situation: My low testosterone has been preventing me from competing. This new treatment my endocrinologist started me on will use my body's natural mechanics to restore healthy testosterone levels.

In addition to how I will get better, the side effects are likely minimal and if I do get any bad ones I'll be able to head them off early. This means I'll be on a steady path to improvement. I'm already showing signs of more energy but I'm still far too tired and lack too much focus to compete for now.

EVO: So when will I be fully well again, and will it be in time for EVO? Well, no one knows. Here's what I do know: the earliest I will be better is in 4 weeks of treatment, or 2 weeks from today. The longest it could take is 90 days, or about 10-11 more weeks. EVO is in 3.5 weeks. From what I understand, it probably will not take closer to the longer amount of time but beyond that I can only hope. Even if I do get better a week/few days before EVO I won't be able to train appropriately. If I actually do get better in 2 weeks then that should give me enough time to prepare decently though, so hope is not lost!

I think most people get the idea at this point. I'd like to offer some perspective on this situation for those worried about EVO: Even if I don't get well in time for EVO, I am still guaranteed to get well at this point. That means people will still be seeing a lot of me very soon and I'll certainly be able to attend whatever big events come up. I will definitely be sad if I do miss EVO, but I'm still happy I'll get to come back and finally not have anything standing in my way anymore. Of course, I'm going to do my best to go to EVO and perform if I have the chance, but I will be happy either way so I hope you all can be too.

Thanks for your patience everyone, let's hold out a little longer and then go all out in Melee! =)
