Queen and Lambert were all fade

CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT

As expected, got the Queen and Adam Lambert calorie rich grand show everything else was invited to fade festival's second day. The band repeated the show from the visit in Herning last spring with the same precision, sharpness and unadulterated joy then, while Lambert again proved that he is probably one of the few that can preserve Freddie Mercury's legacy in the right over the topandan with a personal touch. The man has both voice and peacock qualities enough to Mercury himself to smile there in his heaven.

This was simply a brilliant grand evening matinee in the grand rock school. The only real spot on the sun was in fact a completely pointless drum solo. On the other hand forgave a touching acoustic version of Love of My Life, signed Brian May this misstep. It almost looked like his eyes filled with tears at the guitarist here when Mercury himself appeared as duettparnter on the video screen above him.

As regards the setlist we are talking, of course, hit parade of God's grace, which showed the band's unquestionably impressive breadth. A vital part of the band's greatness lies in that they have been able to push the boundaries in terms of style to the limit, and yet always let the Queen in full, something you again reminded of this late evening. From pure hard rock songs I Want It All and initial One Vision to rock musical embossed Don't Stop Me Now and on to femtiotalspastichen Crazy Little Thing Called Love and synth-based Radio Gaga and classic colored Bohemian Rhapsody seemed everything just as natural parts of the repertoire as always.

But a festival can be notoriously not live on the occasional giants alone. Thus, the program included the second sheer experienced name in the middle class, and in any case a not-so-load old ones. As Shinedown, Florida band that has grown gradually since the sjävlbetitlade debut was released in the beginning of the millennium. The success has also been well deserved, this is a band that both botanize and mix and out of the changing post-grunge basket, and the Sweden Stage seemed the whole thing generally very sympathetic.

Fixed oldies dominated as saying. Guns n 'Roses predecessor L.A. Guns showed in the late afternoon it was sleaziga furniture should go. World ending hardly spin, but solid and nimble one can say that these relics of the Sunset Strip appeared, and the bonus in the form of a faithful respectful cover of Purple Rain was not ashamed of themselves either.
It gjrode nor indeed Vanilla Fudge effort. These wardens who debuted in 1967 flume made of so-so obvious that only a band created in the late Beatlesdecenniumet can.

Therapy? However, not those who are wallowing in the things that can be described as nice in a hurry. Rather belonging to these Northern Irish the rather rough-barked species pure musialiskt. For my part, I can feel that their expression is well-basalt in length, but it can also not deny that they remained at their reading style.
Remained at its reading also Friday's lunch entertainers Epica done. Not so surprising perhaps given that symphonic metal with large female voices behind the microphone constantly improved its position in recent years, and the Dutchman is one of the reason why. On Stage Lemmy represented sextet genre's mighty hot, weight, and pampighet with good results.

Under the heading belated comebacks can Dan Reed Network is sorted out. After around twenty years, the singer who gave the band its name gathered forces again. At the time, like those who fell for their good funk spiced hårmetall as it went, and I'm inclined to agree. But it seemed the band both slightly softer and less groovy live format than expected.
What else? Well, early risers rock 'n' roll punk Warner Drive proved a reclined small southern rock smelling of shaving. Also did Twisted Sister his probably last gig on Swedish soil ever, but more on that in tomorrow's packed report.
