Preface to the Jamie video I’m about to post….
So, first off, good luck to anyone planning a FSOG trip. Security is crazy – more than I’ve ever seen. (And, that’s coming from a NY’er who’s seen plenty of filming going on in her city) One guard told fans “you have a snowballs chance in hell of meeting the cast”. So, may the odds be ever in your favor. (Yes, obv they are there to work, but honestly, the fans on set this week were all super quiet and not disruptive.)
Anyway, back to the story. Since interiors were being filmed Tuesday, we didn’t plan to head over to Ana’s apartment set. No sense standing in the rain for nothing! We were going about our business and driving to lunch when we noticed some filming signs on the road. The signs were next to a public park near some scenic water. There was a parking lot there so we stopped and took a walk.
While walking, we saw what appeared to be a bunch of film trucks in a gated area, but nothing really going on. We kept on with our walk and even stopped and did some gambling at a casino next to the park – slot machines! (We lost.) When we left, my friend noticed a football flying in the air near the trucks. She said “wouldn’t it be funny if that was Jamie playing football.” I laughed at her and said “hah, yeah right!”
Then, I was like, for the hell of it, let’s pull out a camera, zoom in, and get a closer look. We do, and sure enough, it is freaking JAMIE DORNAN tossing a football with Max Martini.
Truly beyond insane that we somehow saw this! It’s been days and I still can’t believe it! We only watched them for about a minute, and yes, I did switch my camera on when we realized it was them.
Yes, I also feel kind of bad for posting the sneaky video. But, it’s super quick and super cute. They’re not doing anything embarrassing or particularly private and I figured other fans would kind of love to see it… I can’t believe we’re legit the only people to get pix of Jamie in YVR when not actually filming.
We’ve no desire to make any $$ off this, or boost our follower counts. We had a great trip out west, and feel lucky to have seen so much! So, just enjoy, from one fan to another.
