Virtual Lab Story & Character Profiles.
Page 8:
In the year 2095, on the distant planet of Marine Blue, the facility called Cosmo Station was constructed. There, a space research lab was established and many scientists of all types gathered there to perform myriad research. One such laboratory, the Virtual Research Lab, was lead by Professor Katagiri, whose research involved the "Myuu", a mysterious life form thought to be the ultimate living creature.
Page 9:
"Heh heh heh, when I give my presentation on the great discovery I've made about this creature at the next academic meeting, my reputation is going to grow even more!" said the professor, quite satisfied with himself, as he dozed in his private quarters. Suddenly, the professor's assistant appeared. Hurriedly, she(?) told him.
"There's been an anomaly! It's an emergency!"
The pair rushed to the research lab. There, they found that a problem with the automated climate control had caused the temperature to rise, the effects of which had resulted in uncontrolled multiplication of the Myuu.
Page 10:
"Achh! This won't do! If the academic council finds out about this I'll be ruined! Kai, you musn't tell anyone about this. I'll be in hiding for a while."
"W-what do you want me to do about this?"
"Just leave this sort of thing to Lisa! She should be finishing her classes soon." And, saying so, Professor Katagiri disappeared from the doorway.
"But professor, we can't do that!"
Kai called after him, but the professor was already gone.
Page 11:
"Wh-WHAT IS THIS?" When I opened the door, the scene that greeted me was completely unexpected. Strange creatures were crawling all over the room.
"These are the creatures father is researching. He's not here, so he must've made a run for it."
Then I noticed a note on the desk. It explained what had happened, and how to deal with the creatures.
"Good luck", it concluded.
"P.S., I'll look for the professor. -Kai"
I stood, frozen, note in hand.
"Just wait until I get my hands on you, dad!" I thought, as the creatures multiplied uncontrollably before my eyes.
Character Profiles (Pg 13):
I'm Katagiri Risa(Lisa?), Age 13. I'm cheerful, but a "little bit" strong-headed. I'm basically this game's main character.
"Myuu Myuu Myuu Myuu" (Translation: We are the protozoans known as the Myuu! We're mysterious, and very numerous!)
I'm Dr. Katagiri Stan, and I'm quite the whiz if I do say so myself. I am the head of this research facility.
My name is Kai Ken. I'm 18 years old. A lot of people tell me that I'm responsible for my age. I am working as Professor Katagiri's assistant.
