The Great Trade Off 2016
This week marked the moment we have all been waiting for. Yes, it's the great trade off.
In the left hand corner, we have the Inner Circle Trader - purveyor of the most epic education series on the internet. A series so startlingly long its rumoured no one has ever made it to the end of it still alive.
The man needs little introduction on the internet - with an ego that makes Martin Shkreli look positively humble, his skill is pinpoint precision in the Curency market (although he does add that he is also master of Fixed Income, Stock Indices, Metals, Grains, Softs, Meats, Land, Property, Energy, weather Futures and the DOM)
Astoundingly, just recently and under the pressure of continued doubt, he managed to demo trade his way into 90% drawdown deliberately and then turn it all the way around to just...86% drawdown.
This man faces off against AMS Trader.
Little is known of the Welsh lad, with the iron balls to step up even though I've had shits that have lasted longer than his career.
When the competition was announced, the internet was driven into a frenzy of excitement. One person tweeted: "ICT's education is the best on the internet. And to think its FREE. I've watched all 3,918 hours of it. I know, I know, if I had worked for just £7 per hour in McDonalds I could have earnt £27,456 in the time its taken me to get to the end of it but it is still AMAZING"
And so today, the competition kicked off in earnest when ICT coolly and calmly announced a 7% gain in one day. These gains were quickly verified and found to be true. Not content with the praise, he quickly added: "It's just started - I'll turn this into 100k inside three months".
AMS was unavailable for immediate comment when we contacted him. Although his neighbour reported she'd seen him heading down the stairwell with a suitcase.
