Hi everyone, so I feel like clearing the air after all the beef between donations, leffen, and everything else. I seem to be the target of (in my opinion) unfair attacks every time I do a donation drive. Which to be honest isn't that many. Its like Evo 2014, Super Smash Con, and maybe 1 other. None of the fans are paying for the Leffen MM nor paying for my Beast trip (as implied by Leffen's twitlonger). I made 70% of my flight off of my stream MAYBE, probably less if you consider some of the subs were probably just to get my emotes or to support me. The reason why I SLIGHTLY encouraged people to donate on stream is because I really wanted to go to Beast 6 but I knew it would be financially irresponsible to spend that amount of money. I said yolo and got my flight because I love playing smash. A Smash career as a top 8 melee player is probably as lucrative as being a full time worker at Trader Joe's (not that glamorous right?). Okay, its a little better than that! But I definitely appreciate it, over the past year melee has treated me pretty well overall. I could say with confidence i've made more the past year than my entire rest of my smash career combined. My tempo storm sponsor has been tremendous to me, all the TO's, prize pools, the fans, its fun. I still need help financially from family members from time to time. I do have a couple melee bux in the bank and am working on building my credit so when melee is over I can have some sort of future. Thank to anyone who has supported me though!
