It's time to move on.

For the past 853 days I've worked at TheNexusMC.

It's because of The Nexus that I was able to travel around the country to different conventions, meeting my friends and co-workers I had met through the server.
It's because of The Nexus that I was able to skip getting a part time job throughout school.
It's because of The Nexus that I was able to give back to my parents over the holidays.
It's because of The Nexus that I was able to move across the country and go full time on doing the work I love.
It's because of The Nexus that I was able to get my dream car.
It's because of The Nexus that I have the social media following I do, and why I decided to pursue programming in general.

It's because of The Nexus that I have to make one of the hardest decisions I've had to make for a long time.

Today I'm announcing that I'm officially stepping down as a developer for The Nexus.

To the Nexus Team:
You guys are amazing. The amount of time I've spent in calls with you guys throughout the past 2 and a half years outnumbers the amount I had spent with family and friends. You're all very talented and I can't wait to see the future work of you guys. This includes those who have stepped down along the way: Brandon and Tanner. :)

To the Mods and Admins:
You guys are so dedicated to keeping the community clean and friendly to ensure a good experience for everyone. The amount of activity shown by you guys daily blows my mind, and you guys are just as important as the developers behind it.

To the Players:
It's because of you guys that I was able to dedicate my full attention to the server. From developing each minigame to a brand new site when we outgrew the capabilities of Enjin. Your feedback, maps, reports, forum posts, forum games threads (yes, even those), and witty replies to update threads helped shape the server and community.

The Nexus will be left in good hands. :) I'll leave it up to them to decide when they'd like to announce internal changes happening, but lots of new content and changes are coming down the pipeline (a little birdie told me, at least :P).

I'm still on very good terms with the team, and have no negative feelings towards anyone on it.

It's time to move on to other projects. :)
