About my old NACS Contract
First off, it's actually pretty disturbing to me that my old contract was leaked and random journalists have it, but I'll put that aside since that's not what this post is focused on.
Last January, I signed with CLG for the B team and everyone got $700 a month. This was completely normal last year for the challenger scene, and even above most of the other teams, besides Fusion. People saying that this was underpaid/I'm being taken advantage of are not aware of what the norm was back then.
CLG basically took me when I was a relatively unknown solo queue player, and stuck with me even when I got competitively banned (which in turn greatly reduced the chance of the challenger team qualifying for NACS) and I appreciate them a ton for that. In the past I had times where I was quite frustrated with the organization, as I'm sure they were with me. Ever since Mylixia joined though, they have been nothing but helpful and willing to work with me. I expressed that I was only interested in playing in LCS, and they offered me a sub position (new contract) which I took knowing that it would be an investment for me. And now here I am, with no complaints and extremely happy with how everything is going.
TL;DR:
I haven't been under that NACS contract in more than half a year.
Mylixia was not even apart of the organization when I signed the contract.
CLG has been loyal to me and I will repay the favor.
