To my fans, friends, and anyone else reading,

It is not easy for me to write this post, but it needs to be said. Tomorrow, December 7th, we were planning to launch our business. A select few of you know what this business is already, and have given us a tremendous amount of support, for which I am thankful. Some of you may know that we were originally aiming to launch the business on October 5th, but in the week leading up to our launch, I was in a serious car accident that drastically changed my financial situation. We postponed the launch until we could afford the costs, and would have enough time to finalize everything.

This Friday, December 4th, I came home from work to find that my computer had been infected with a virus. A type of ransomware, the virus targeted every notable file on my computer and encrypted it with a powerful encryption algorithm, stopping me from using ANY of my files, including documents, music, pictures, videos, etc., as well as all files pertinent to the business. I backed up the majority of our files onto both an external hard drive and a 128 GB SD card, but these were connected to the computer at the time, and they too, were encrypted.

So far, I believe that I have removed the ransomware from my computer (I have most normal functionality back), however the damage seems to be done and my files are still unusable. Files that are not only critical to our business, but to my everyday life. I'm still exploring a few options as to potentially decrypting the files and gaining access to them again, but while I do, my system is still at least partially infected with the virus, and I cannot guarantee the security of any new files that I create. Until I wipe my hard drive of everything and start over, my system is, at the very least, severely crippled.

The launch of our business is postponed indefinitely. I don't know what this means for the future. I don't know what this means for the present. I take no joy in saying any of this. All I wanted is to show you what we'd been working on this past year, and now that work may be lost forever. All I ask is that you keep me, and my work, in the back of your mind in the coming weeks and months.

I know this is not my fault, yet I still feel responsible.
