Write up on CF Nu

So this is going to be a write up on what I know/think of Nu in CF so far.

-4D-
4D got a ~6f startup nerf, so it's now back to having 30frames of startup, this means that it's now a more risky tool to use, because now that it's slower, it can no longer catch people pressing a button/upbacking or anything really after H-Sickle which is normally used as a way to reset drive pressure safely.
This nerf also caused there to be a bigger gap inbetween 5DD>4D, so now more characters can have the chance to get out of drive pressure using the the what is now a ~9f gap (It used to be 3f).
I don't really see this nerf as a "Mixup nerf" (Her mixup already wasn't that good to begin with, zoners shouldn't have mixup anyways), I see this more as a nerf so that 4D is a much more risky move (or rather unreliable) to catch the opponent with, 4D tracks, it's fast, you can start pressure off it, but now with the startup nerf, it can't really be used to catch the opponent because it's slower.

-Luminous/Thoughts of what they should do to Improve Luminous-
Lumious isn't something that can fully replace Spike Chaser, it's more like a water'd down Spike Chaser, can be used in neutral but not as good, can be used as oki but not as good, but that actually needed to happen to SC to make it more "Fair", so they just decided to give her a new tool instead to replace it.
I think that Luminous would be better if it had better tracking, if you could Act Parser cancel it, if it had an air version, those things alone could make it far more better.
Combo wise, it seems like a good combo tool in the corner, mainly because (X>)236D~214[D]>5B works, so full charge CT combos are probably possible in the corner, I'm not 100% sure, but X>236D~214[D]>5B>6A/2C>214]D[7[D] |>stuff might work. If you already have one out and you get a confirm, then you can use the already set H-Luminous to for a gravityless confirm.
Luminous also seems nice to make things safe, like Crescent for example, and it an also allow you to get a meterless confirm off of it if it hits or a whiffed/blocked AA. It can also be used for cross ups as mixup and oki, so something like stagger>5B>jc9 j.B(whiff)>]D[ 44 for a fake cross up is possible now.

-Gravity-
Gravity now takes 6 seconds to recover, this doesn't exactly kill the character, it just makes her harder now because there's less room for mistakes. She no longer has gravity less combos midscreen without using meter/OD/having a H-Lumi setup, so if you get a confirm in the 4/5 seconds (Lets be real here, you get like ~1 second of time for it to recovery off of something like 2B>3C) it takes to recover then you won't really be able to do anything significant off of said confirm, you won't even be able to put the opponent fullscreen if you don't have the resources, you can do 236D~214[D] for space and oki, but that's not as good as a full combo into oki, so gravity is best kept for combos instead of a "breather" in neutral. This is how I see it, others might think differently.

-Drives-
Now we've gone down to three chains on the ground, and I'm not 100% sure about this, but you can no longer late gatling her drives, so this means no more stalling for gravity to recovery, yet another reason as to why gravity should be kept for confirms. Other than that, I don't really see anything character destroying/game breaking happen to them.

-j.DD-
From what I've been seeing, it no longer knocksdown, or no longer knockdown at certain heights, either way it move the opponent higher now, but if that is case of "No longer knockdown at certain heights", then I see this more of a nerf so she can't get a knockdown from nearly anywhere on the screen without being in Crescent range. Again, I am not sure about this one, so I could be wrong.

-Supra & 6A-
So her two good AAs got invul nerfs, well, I know that this happened to Supra, but I'm not 100% sure about 6A. So I'm pretty sure that head invul on both don't start as early anymore, honestly, it had to happen to Supra, the head invul on it started too early (~2f), it was such a godly AA, it's still pretty strong now, but from what I know, you can't combo off it meterlessly anymore, so you get more off of 6A. Supra no longer has grab invul or low invul, the grab invul nerf doesn't really hurt Nu that much, but that means 623BC is kinda useless now, I don't really know how much the low invul mattered for her.

-C Sickle-
RIP FULLSCREEN 3,7K, RIP MIDSCREEN TO FULLSCREEN.
Welp, this nerf was bad, you can't put the opponent fullscreen anymore from a drive because it now staggers the opponent on hit (Still works the same on air hit), you can also no longer get 3,7k from fullscreen thanks to the nerf.

-Possible fuzzy setups-
So, this is a nice one, fuzzies, she could do them in CPEX but she could only confirm off of them with Calamity, so they weren't worth it, but now she has Luminous, so she now has confirmable fuzzies that are most likely practical.

Anyways, this was mostly on talk on what I think of her nerfs/buffs, not alot of combo talk but I wasn't really aiming for combo talk. There's probably somethings that I forgot to say, some mistakes, somethings that are wrong and somethings that you don't agree with, either way, this is what I think of CF Nu, still a strong character but takes more effort.
