Statement about #UXCSGO, Xenn and the yesterday's match versus Penta Sports.

as of now there are some rumours circulating around in the #CSGO scene and we would like to address those with the following statement of Thomas "tomseN" Zwietasch - CGO of UX Gaming.

► On the subject of "xenn"

"In the following lines you will get to read, I will try to explain the current situation, hopefully answer some unresolved questions and additionally share my opinion.

After I received the message yesterday that Basti got banned by FaceIt I immediately got in touch with him and the rest of the team. It should first be noted that he will definitely remain a member of the team until the whole story is solved.

You might ask why?

After I got in touch with the team and after a lot of research I tried to get in touch with FaceIt itself and its admins to see what the facts are and if they even have any crucial evidence that would incriminate Basti. Up until now I couldn't establish any contact of any kind with FaceIt after trying it on Skype and Steam. We only got a support email answered that doesnt help us in any way and is not informative. FaceIt is massively avoiding each and any conversation and views the case as settled.

For an organization like us, that is in a contractual relationship with Basti, a simple statement by an admin, that did not even talk to us as of yet, is just not enough for such a serious issue.

To solve the whole issue and potential consequences for Basti, we would need a log of the AC Tool, that would prove Basti's culpability with a doubt.

You can compare the whole situation to a doping case in sports. As long as there is no clear proof by the official league, we won't and we can't take legal action against Basti.

Furthermore I would like to address why Basti deactivated and NOT deleted his Facebook page. He received a lot of hate and got severely insulted, even by other "professional German gamers". He even received death threats and that is something that is inacceptable.

I personally know Basti now since he joined the CSGO scene and of course I heard about the scam scandal. Now the whole scandal was one and a half year ago and thats why I just cant understand why people still bring that up. You don't have to like him, but insults and agitation against him don't help us nor him and definitely not you. I can not comprehend how one can simply go bananas over something like this and at the same time gives us, the organization partial blame for it.

We will definitely try everything we can to get everything solved as soon as possible."

► On the subject of yesterday's match versus Penta Sports

"In regard to the match versus Penta, we can only give the following statement.
Basti definitely did not play, even though some rumours say otherwise. We ourselves were surprised by the final outcome and like PENTA Sports already mentioned in one of their recent posts on Facebook: Everyone has some good and some bad days and such a controversial story does not help at all. We would also like to distance ourselves from the impeachment that we manipulated the match in any way.

I can only appeal urgently to all of you to not get thrilled by any rumours and to have patience. We also want to get this all solved ASAP.

We will keep you up to date and informed and if there is anything to say, we will.
