On Parting With THAC
Hello everyone, I'm sure most of you have heard the news already , but in case you haven't: on Friday, October 23rd 2015, I officially resigned from THAC. It was my choice, although I wish that it hadn't been necessary.
I literally would not be where I am today were it not for you guys. Over the last six years, what began as three guys with a camera and a youtube channel has blossomed into an amazing, friendly, supportive community. The stereotypical vitriol and name-calling that invades just about every online community (or Youtube comment section) is all but absent from THAC's, which is astonishing, quite frankly. THACPals are Good People.
Thanks to the work I and my colleagues have done over the years, I have not only gotten to speak with many of you on a daily basis, but even meet in person at conventions all over the country (Well, most of it. Okay, the eastern part. And Texas.) And hey, it's not every day that someone sends you artwork based on your own face. I'm still incredibly humbled by that.
I still fully intend to keep creating things. You haven't seen, or heard(?!), the last of me just yet. But it might be a little while. In the meantime, thank you all for your patience and understanding, and I hope you'll stick around for any future projects I attempt to tackle. But if not, that's okay too. <3
For now, as some wise men once said, it's time to go forward. Move ahead. And whip it GOOD.
