Jam Parry Stuff gleaned from video

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27283128

Parry catches moves from 1-8f and has 24f duration overall

Parry will not activate unless you tap 4 and 6, so walking forward after walking backwards will not trigger parry. Parry can be done unexpectedly if you do dash FD brake dash though.

Perhaps for the reasons above, parry will not start up if you hit 6 after blocking for awhile, so while the command is 46, it's better to think of it as 546.
----

Raw parry and parry when cancelled from normals function differently.

Cancelled parry can only be cancelled into it's P followup.

HOWEVER, raw parry can be cancelled into forwards/backwards movement (walk and dash), crouch, and FD on the 9th frame!
It cannot be cancelled into jump, attacks (or throw), blitz or burst.

But since you can cancel parry into crouch or FD, you can first cancel it into that and then carry out whatever actions you wanted to.
The examples the video lists are Parry>2P, Parry>high jump and Parry>crouching blitz (the video also shows Parry>kenrou and Parry>gold burst but didn't write it in the text)

When parry catches a move, it can only be cancelled into P followup, dash, backdash and FD.
As such, if you want to do a move other than P followup, you have to dash FD brake cancel the parry (I thought may you can FD cancel into a move but the video shows that even though the FD green effect is flashing, Jam is still in parry animation, so she can probably block using FD but can't do other actions. If that is the case, then I'm wondering if she can block low moves after a successful parry...)

(also another parry isn't listed in the cancellable options but it is because later on in the video it mentions that you have to input parry multiple times to parry multihit moves)

However, there is a window after a parry where pressing P will have the followup come out no matter what, so even if you dash FD brake cancel the successful parry, hitting P after will make the followup come out instead of 5P

Parry does not count as an 'active' option, as shown in the video when Jam gets negative penalty from standing still and parrying/
