Xur inventory recommendations, Week 54:
So, I'm at TwitchCon, which makes things a little more difficult with regards to making a video about Xur. I might have one for tomorrow, we'll see.
Anyway, Titans, you have Ruin Wings. Int/Str not the worst combo, it's pretty good for Melting Point Titans. Increased Rocket/Sniper reload speed is good, bonus grenade energy on melee hits isn't terrible. Main bonus gets you more heavy drops and more ammo in those drops. These are fantastic, especially for players without Immolation Fists if you're running Sunbreaker. More heavy means you're at maximum power more often, dealing more damage is always good. Definitely pick up a pair of these gloves for sure.
Hunters, Sealed Ahamkara's Grips are for you, new exotic. Full strength is actually very good considering the bonus on them. Bonus grenade energy on melee hit, that's fine, and increased rocket or fusion reload speed is not bad. Main bonus gets you a second melee and chance to reload your primary weapon on hit. I don't have a personal verdict on these just yet, but I'd like to say buy them anyway and play around with them, especially Nightstalkers. Nightstalkers having two melee charges means 2 smoke bombs, which can be used either offensive or defensive. That's KINDA really good.
Warlocks, you're getting Light Beyond Nemesis. I think we all know the deal with the Keeper of the Pack exotics by now. Good to have at some point, not urgent though.
HAWKMOON is the weapon of the week. Oh boy. Now, I'll be honest, I have not gotten to play with Year 2 Hawkmoon yet, I haven't. Hand Cannons did get slapped pretty hard with patch 2.0. However, they're still pretty good in King's Fall in select areas and still do beast as hell damage. Hawkmoon is a top tier PvE weapon for all of Year 1 and while there's definitely more competition for top tier weaponry this time around, Hawkmoon still puts out beastly damage, you just need to know your range limits. Comes recommended, but I understand if you don't want to use it if you have something like Ace of Spades or something.
