I still vividly remember my first conquest match. My heart was pounding so hard I could feel the pulsing in my neck, I had butterflies in my stomach and was hesitant to queue but I had put off playing a real game for days at this point. I had spent a long time fighting the Manticore (the closed beta version of Ra-bot) in practice games and it was time for me to take the plunge. When I loaded into the lobby I called out my lane and then proceeded to explain to my team that it was my first conquest and I was sorry if I made any mistakes.

I expected people to be upset or even rage at me but they replied “Hey man, that’s cool, you’ll do fine. We can get through this”. Throughout the game they explained different things about the map, the gods, the camps, towers, etc. Instead of BMing me or replying with 'gg' I was warmly welcomed and pointed in the right direction. It was at this moment that I fell deeply in love with this game and this community. You could say I was smitten ;)

I wanted to put back into the community what it had given to me and that lead me to the how to fail at smite series. Together we learned the game, the new gods and how to laugh at mistakes. I have wanted to be a caster since the beginning but I didn't feel confident enough in what I knew about Smite or MOBAs (traditionally an MMO player). Since then I have spent the past 3 years organically growing my knowledge of this game through streaming, picking the brains of my pro friends and casters, researching, experimenting for hours and of course playing nearly everyday.

My newest series Bronze League Bravehearts is the culmination of the past 3 years of work. Inspired by esports legends HuskyStarcraft and Day[9], it's aimed at encouraging people to play conquest and ranked conquest by helping them to understand dynamics like meta, builds, positioning and much much more. People don't play conquest for many reasons: it's too complicated, my teams are toxic, it's not worth it, it's too intimidating, I'm afraid of playing poorly, etc. I understand all of these things, I've seen it all in this game. But, what if the next MLCStealth is playing arena right now instead of conquest, and maybe the only thing the next Repikas needs is a little encouragement to finish his qualifiers. Think about it.

My biggest challenge is yet to come. I want to test my endurance and commitment as a content creator by releasing **100 episodes** of bronze league bravehearts **in 30 days**. In order to meet this challenge I need your help. 100 episodes in 30 days means I need at least 4 people who are in bronze and willing to be spectated live on stream **PER DAY**.

I’m calling upon the Smite community to help me get the word out so I have enough people to spectate to complete this goal. The recording for the 30 day challenge starts tonight on stream, the official start to the challenge is Sept 22nd and will run until Oct 22nd.

Not a day goes by that I don’t appreciate the years of love that I have received from this amazing community. I am both humbled and inspired by your support and I look forward to our next journey.

edit:
TL;DR - I'm issuing a challenge to myself as a content creator. 100 episodes in 30 days. Help me achieve this goal by signing up if you're in bronze, or help me by spreading the word that I'm looking for bronze players to spectate live.
