Nocturne Buffs


The Issue with nocturne before was that his ultimate being such short range especially at level 6 made it very easy for the opponent to guess where you would ult with just semi decent vision. Ward a couple spots here and there and you know that any nocturne ult can't come from his side of the map. The champion had to leave the safety of vision denial from his own side before getting an ult. So if you had any sight along the river or any remote deep vision he would become very predictable.

The buff now really speaks to the theme of the champion and how you want to play him. You set up a line of pink wards on your side of the jungle creating Darkness on your side of the map. A Darkness which now you never have to leave and can actually ult from and gank. Instead of having to gank mid from a side brush at level 6 you can gank from the raptor camps. This makes his counter gank threat even more deadly as well as the unpredictability of the champion even greater. Maybe I am biased because he's likely my favorite champion but I think that if a team can play him well he can be more devastating in terms of mind games than an Evelynn.
