Reason for Smashified Delay
Hey guys, just wanted to be a bit more transparent and clear some things up regarding the next Smashified, since I feel like I owe it to you guys to explain why things are taking longer than originally expected. I've been traveling a lot in the past 3 weeks, and when I haven't been traveling, I've been trying to take care of restocking and refurnishing my apartment since one of my roommates moved out.
I also want to make it abundantly clear that creating YouTube content is not a primary source of income for any member on the team, and that our jobs always take precedence over work on Smashified, which can often lead to delays due to work obligations. While we do strive to have a new episode completed every two weeks, sometimes it simply isn't possible.
With me being the only video editor up to this point, it's been difficult to make progress due to being away from home, so for the first time, I've handed some of the video editing duties to Chris, who's still getting acquainted with the video editing pipeline.
In the past couple weeks, we made some estimations regarding the episode's release not knowing how much time we'd actually have to work on it, and given unforeseen circumstances, we've had to continually push it back. To avoid situations like this in the future, we're going to refrain from giving any kind of distant release dates in the future. At most, we'll probably just announce that an episode will be up one day prior to release. Sorry about the wait, and I hope you guys enjoy it when it does come out. I should be able to have it ready for release tomorrow, but once again, things happen.
