Sleeping Trees: Mafia
Impressed greatly by this show, a tight production with great acting and great music.
This three piece or six if you include the band are really something, it's a hugely entertaining show that seems to have everyone in agreement.
Think The Godfather, Goodfellas, any such like gangster movie, now add some comedy and you've got the idea. Surprisingly easy to follow considering the different characters and zero costume changes.
The story is fun and keeps your attention throughout. It's full of great acting and wonderful comic timing, I especially enjoyed the chase scenes.
Special mention to the live band as they were great, it was a treat having them on stage, they were a real joy to watch.
Overall a great show but missing some big laughs, amusing maybe but that's not enough for a 5 star comedy review.
As one audience member put it "very, very good".
The guys also do a western show so check that out, the shows run on alternative days.
